Both teams were tied at 3 runs apiece after nine innings. Tampico was victorious in the 11th inning. Eric Byrnes stroked a single. David Bell stepped up to the plate and he lined a single. Jesus Colome then picked Bell off first base. David Newhan stepped in and he lashed a single, and an error was also committed, scoring the run. Tampico had 14 hits for the afternoon. The win was credited to Pavano(5-8) who went the whole way allowing 3 runs. Jaime Cerda(2-3) took the loss in relief. Tampico continued their winning ways, with their streak now at 7 games and counting. 'We're on quite a roll lately' said Mike Aldrich. 'I just hope we can keep it going.'
